The smell is pleasant, the taste isn’t harsh, and the texture isn’t as thick as most toothpastes - perfect for a toddler. I switched my son to this toothpaste and it has been great! I haven’t noticed whitening, but his teeth do look good and clean after he has brushed. He loves the flavor. But I’m just thrilled that my son could potentially avoid this procedure!
