It fits easily in my backpack, and it doesn’t look ridiculous if I hanging it on my backpack if I’m packing a lot. It’s thick enough to support my head against the window/wall without feeling too bulky. I usually sleep really poorly on planes, and I’m not going to say that this was the magic charm, but I definitely slept more comfortably. It’s also great support against your lower back if you’re not sleeping. Some have mentioned a smell, but honestly it just smells like memory foam usually does and it’s not overpowering. I’ve only used for a few flights so far but I love it!
