Original Pre War German Army Blanket 2 Red StripeOriginal, somewhat dirty, pre war German army blanket with 2 red stripes and red surging. There are several stains and marks. The blanket itself is still quite thick and fuzzy so it actually has held up well, unfortunately when I found it, it was being used as a moving and packing blanket. This would be worth trying to clean and would make for a great blanket to use for reenacting or to roll up and help display an early Tornister.

I wore these shoes to my friends wedding and I got a lot of compliments for how cute they were. They are extremely cute shoes that fit my feet perfectly. The downside is that they became painful for me to wear after only 30 minutes of me wearing to them. During the rehearsal- were I was mostly standing in them- the pads of my feet started to hurt and by the end of the rehearsal (45 minutes later) I could barely walk in them. The day of the wedding I wore them for pictures which took 30 minutes in total and they hurt so much that when I arrived to the venue I had to put bandaids on my feet to make my feet more comfortable and to avoid blisters. Another thing I would say about these shoes is that the strings didn’t stay up after I tied them around my calf. Every time I tied them around my calf, they would slide down to my ankle within minutes. So yeah I love these shoes and they were cute despite the strings sliding down but I would highly suggest wearing something soft to cover the pads of your feet for comfort.
