There is always a small flat unpainted area on nearly every piece of German artillery near the breach, that is where this would be placed and clamped down. This would allow you to calibrate the mounting of the sight block. It is in decent condition except for the bubble level, which is smashed.

I think is a quality wire and affordable

The wire is excellent; its thickness feels appropriate, and it appears to be high quality. I've installed it on my PV array, which delivers over 40 amps DC, and the wire handles this load well. MC4 connectors are not included but are pre-cut for easy installation, and I encountered no problems.
