Hatherton Linen by Merchant and MillsEuropean laundered linen, tumbled at the mill for softness. The 185 dressweight linen is our go to linen for all dress making and is what we use for many of our samples. It is a great match for all of our patterns, dresses, tops and loose fitting trousers. This linen also works well for lighter curtains for a casual less refined look. It is produced in small batches in Eastern Europe where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen

I am 6’4” weigh @ 230 lbs and ordered a 2XL. My dress shirt neck size is 17 inches. If you’re happy with a very loose fitting around your neck, then you’ll be ok with this mock turtleneck shirt. I ordered thinking it would be a snug fit around the neck size, not hanging down @ one inch or more in the front.
