The coins date from 1912 to 1938 (1912, 1914, 1916, 1918, 1931,1932, 1934, 1938). 7 out of the 8 coins have "IND IMP" on them, the rest of the writing is obscured by the holes. It appears that FID DEF IND IMP is abbreviated Latin for "FIDEI DEFENSOR INDIAE IMPERATOR" meaning, "Defender of the Faith, Emperor Empress of India.
