Works only with 600W HPS ballast and E 40 socket. Plant growth will be much more robust and large with large, compact flowers. The lamp is used both in the growth and in the flowering phase. Seems to be pretty durable. I haven't had it long. The adhesive is still holding up as I applied it to the wall for a vertical hang to keep the block off the floor in my studio. I don't recommend trying to apply this to a wall that would have some kind of texture as the adhesive probably wouldn't hold very well. It's made for flat surfaces only or a wood surface. Make sure you clean the dust off the area you plan to attach to. As everyone knows charging blocks for PCs are incredibly huge and heavy; so far so good.
