It's not a loose fitting jacket, but I believe that's the currently style for jean jackets. I like that tigher fitting jacket where you can wear a longer t-shirt underneath (like an oversized t-shirt would look really nice with this jacket, or a tie dye type t-shirt). Quality? 10 out of 10! It's thick, it's well-made and came very nicely packed. :)
